We shipped a lot over the past couple of months. Here is the short version of what is new.
Subtitles in up to 10 languages at once
You can now make subtitles for one video in up to 10 languages in one go, instead of running the job again for each language. Pick your languages in the language field, and when the job finishes you get a zip file with a subtitle file for every language inside, plus a video with burned-in subtitles for each language if you want one.
Your last set of languages is remembered, so a repeat job is one click.
A real subtitle editor
Subtitles no longer have to be right the first time. Every subtitle job and every burn-in job now opens in an editor where you can fix a line, adjust the timing or correct a name the AI misheard, per language, before you download or burn anything.
From the same screen you can:
- Preview how burned-in subtitles will look, with live controls for font size, background, outline and a transparent outline.
- See the speaker's name on each subtitle line.
- Download the result as SRT, WebVTT or plain TXT, or edit it in another subtitle editor first and bring it back.
We also fixed a handful of phone issues along the way, including text running off the screen on iPhone and the preview of vertical videos.
Longer videos, faster pages
The longest video you can transcribe is now 12 hours, up from 4. Account pages such as your library and your usage load faster, and the progress screen gives a more honest estimate of how long a job will take.
A fresh look and a feedback button
The site got a visual refresh, including the pricing section, the main menu and the progress screen. And if something looks off or you have an idea for us, there is now a feedback button right under your results.
